Will this dlc turn players into gamble addicts?

Hello GTA 5 community.

I wanted to make this thread because i am worried. Worried because i keep thinking about the fact that this new casino dlc may cause players to get a addiction to gambling. What do you think about this?

Actually it won't. It will only give addicts a place to gamble. Whether they are gambling addicts or not is not on Rockstar to fix. The better question is "will the gta online casino take advantage of gambling addicts?" Luckily again, the answer is still no. They don't intend people to play only in the casino. They don't intend for people to only lose. They don't intend for people to constantly buy chips. They have put in some limits in an effort to prevent people just wasting away while trying to gamble.

The first few early wins was great but now I've lost over a million and find my self logging back in just to get more chips stockpiled :P Bet this keeps the player count up also got to wonder if they changed the odds after the release, or is it just me having the streak of bad luck.

it doesnt matter if you lose 6 milion or win 6 milion, lost it ? fine its gone, won 6 mil get banned from the casino for unknown amount of time and your chips are still inside, i got a lucky 5mil from a slot machine and the rest from the tables they need to change it that you dont get banned after winning a specific amount of cash.

It's too easy to get money ingame. So the thought of people buying shark cards to gamble is funny but, unlikely for the masses as a whole. There are always stupid poeple though.

As to people getting a taste for the real thing. I don't know. I have to admit it's possible.
Perhaps there should be an ingame backlash against The Diamond in the form of radio political stuff. Followed by Gambling addicting counseling being offered, self exclusion from The Diamond among other informational signs everywhere.
