The best part? They put poker in Red Dead Online... but you're limited to how much you can bet and if you play too long they don't let you play anymore lol.

So they go through the ♥♥♥♥ storm of actually adding online gambling you can actually spend real money in... but fumble the obvious choice? Honestly I took 2 minutes if that going through the entire floor of the casino. Theres NOTHING in there, what the hell took them that long to make it?

It looks like they shat it out in a few weeks, the games aren't even satisfying to win. The three card poker just goes on it's own after you bet, you don't even get to see for yourself what cards the dealer gets until they just say you won or lost.

I was really psyched to play online poker in GTA online, the engine is SO perfect for it. Voice chat? Great customization? A pretty damn big player base? It's a no brainer.

Yeah they put in three card poker..it's alright but I was hoping for Texas Hold 'Em as well.

It would be a no brainer but Rockstar isn't interested in putting out quality content. If that were the case, story mode would have had DLC and an expansion. All Rockstar cares about is selling Shark Cards. It doesn't matter if you already spent $59.99 or $79.99 on the actual game. Those micro-transactions are all that they care about. And poker? I can sit down at a poker table IRL and make $200 an hour. You think Rockstar wants that?

You can't have an actual GAME OF SKILL in an online game that requires people to purchase currency. I mean, you could... because people would actually buy cards to continue playing having lost their entire bankroll. But this development team is short sighted to the pointed that they're worried about the people making money in the casino rather than losing it. The house MUST take your money, not other players.

Rockstar is a JOKE. That is why this update sucks. Money.

Think about the delusion as a video game development studio to think that YOU know more about generating revenue than actual casinos. Just think about that. These people actually decided that other players winning money would cost them money as the strip in Las Vegas rakes in BILLIONS every year. Think about that.

Red Dead poker is bad. Rockstar managed to actually create their own poker game. You can only bet UP TO a certain amount. And then you're all in. It doesn't matter when that point is reached. Once you bet $2 or something that's it. The hand continues as if you're all in. Your max buy in is $5. And if you play for more than an hour or so you're banned from poker completely for 24 hours. Literally a JOKE.

True, but if GTA online HAD the poker even with those limits, I'm sure people could mod them out and we could have a wonderful time.

Agree deleting it and freeing those 85 gigs from my pc was worth it, trash update to milk the cows even more.
