AP pistol or smg mk2?

So recently i discovered that you can use the smg mk2 on motorcycles, and with the addition of special rounds or atleast a 60 round magazine i thought that it could outclass the ap pistol, yet i haven't seen any discussion about it that doesn't boil down to "ap pistol is better lol, but you can use the smg mk2 on bikes if you want to". I don't want to waste my money upgrading my smg to mk2 only for it to be worse then the pistol i already use so if you know whic one is better some help would be greatly appreciated.

SMG MKII is more accurate with larger mag so you can headshot from a longer distance. Don't waste your money on it because you can't use it in cars. AP Pistol is all around good enough and it penetrates body armor.
