Unable to retrieve character inventory data from Rockstar...

I know this is a known issue from past, but anybody with this problem right now?

Yeah just got the same thing, first it was saying cant sync server with catalogue or something and now its saying. Unable to retrieve character inventory data from Rockstar, this is really annoying. looking for answers now :'(

Same, i am right now having exactly the same turn of events you mention. Any solution's?

okay so played 30 minutes same exact problem, sent back to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ single player where you cant even store cars... transactions are slow as ♥♥♥♥ too and sometimes fail.

After bikers it was fine but few days later this ♥♥♥♥ starts happening. I'll let you know if I find a solution. for now I'll just turn off firewall...

Please god help us out and make GTA great again

got it working:
On PC: In your PC's "Documents" folder (C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents by default), delete or rename the "Social Club" folder. The files will be redownloaded the next time you start the game.

I'm trying this now, which i found online, basically just says to verify game integrity (right click game on steam -> properties -> local files tab -> check integrity) might work for you, havent tested mine yet

Yeah the solutions from Rockstar's support didn't worked for me.
I deleted the Social Club Folder, but no solutions
I checked integrity cache, and nothing.
Only thing that worked only 1 time, was disconnect my internet but, then again same Issue.

Still have the problem but if you try at least 5 or 6 times you can finally join online.
It may be something wrong with Rockstar's server. My wife in the PC at side of me is playing online without any problem.

Social Club ♥♥♥♥♥ itself after an update because so many log on to the game to try to play the new update. This tends to happen a lot, so just try again later. It was absolutely insane on PS3 when the Heists update launched.
