GTA 5 REDUX ERR_MEM_MULTIALLOC_FREE After selecting story mode

So ive been struggling with this mod for a while, when I run gta 5 as admin it loads up, then when it displays some info of the mod before the game launches it shows this error first C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\ReShade.fx (14, 2) : preprocessor warning: could not find application profile, falling back to default. this is with the deep and rich reshade, when I use original I don't get this error, but I still get the ERR_MEM_MULTIALLOC_FREE After selecting story mode and about 10-20 seconds of loading it pops up. Would be so grateful if someone could help me fix this. This is with the rockstar disc version not from steam store.

This worked for me:

Open OpenIV in Edit Mode and replace “mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/gameconfig.xml” with the original in “update/update.rpf/common/data/gameconfig.xml. Then REDUX should work with the newest biker update!

oh my god thank you! You're a god amongst men. After this I put in the deep and rich reshade in as well into my game directory (not mod) and it worked too! <3

GTAV as well as the backup files in addition to the 3.3GB or Redux files totally fills my tiny 120GB SSD.

i'm getting the same error with the steam version, how do I fix? I keep getting the error even in safemode

I don´t know dude, but I´m using the latest steam version available for this game. After following the installation instructions, I couldn't get this to work because the game would crash with a memory failure after clicking "story mode". After replacing the "gameconfig.xml" as described above, everything worked as expected.

After spending some hours on this I got to say, I regret it all. The game does not look amazing, it looks like a game, a cartoon. All the real life colors and effects are beyond exagerated.

My advice, stick with the original game.

The above instruction is correct.It stopped the error for me when I wanted to use the Redux mod. It just has no explanation where you get the correct config file from. The correct config file that you can use to stop the crash is available here
