No Sound through Headset - in the game

Hey

My Problem is...
everytime i start GTA 5 in solo or online mode, i have no sound on my Headphones...
No Sound at all (i heard many have no sound after the intro, i can't even hear the intro).
I removed every other sound device, i restarted the PC, i don't have realtek...

I use the G933 wireless USB Headset, it worked fine, for me...
I noticed, that if the headset got empty i have no sound anymore in GTA, but a simple restart fixed it...but today, i started the game and there was no sound, and the headset was charged.

I have sound through the speakers, but that's no solution.
also...the headphones work normally except for GTA 5

GTA doesn't play nice with most usb headphones, sounds like you got a pair of usb headphones GTA don't like.

I have had programs for some reason mute the headphones on its own. This happens on the Bigscreen app on my Vive VR. Drives me crazy. Maybe it is doing that for some reason. Sound on the pc can be a pain.

Are you like me and use a sound card? Check all the settings in control panel for sound devices. Make sure the device is set as defaulyt. You say that the speakers get sound in the game? Sometimes it can also be that the front jack on your pc is set to play the headphones instead of the rear plug.

It sounds like yours might be wireless though, and then its a matter of a USB issue or bluetooth.

Yeah, try an old fashioned pair of plug in headphones and see if they work. Plug in headphones can be much higher quality too. I have a real nice set of Sennheisers for my VR.

yeah thx for the fast "answers" but...
first off all i used this headset before...even in GTA V without a problem...so...
also, i don't want to get new ones...
And also...i told it's the G933 wireless USB Headset...so yes, it's USB

but there was no problem yesterday...or for years with my old G930 wireless USB headset

Try this. Turn the headset off and turn it back on while in gta. If that don't work. Block all output to your headset. Go to control panel and click sound. Click playback tab and right click on your headset and set as default. If that don't work then you gotta force it.
