How to detonate explosives

I got a Tony mission to plant some explosive in a competition's lab.

Once I did it gave me the instruction to detonate the explosives but it did not say what key to use. I checked my keybindings and the closest thing was sticky bombs (F), and those blow up fine.

I could not find anything else in the keybindings that sounded like "detonate explosives" and I tried every key in the keyboard. This probably happened because I remapped my keys, but I definitely do not want to go back to the horrible default keybindings.

Any suggestions on how to find the "detonate explosives" key?

I'm pretty sure it is E to detonate explosives.
But check multiplayer or weapon keybinds. Also see if anyone posted this before.

A shot in the dark, but did you happen to check on your in-game phone? I don't recall getting the mission yet you describe, the suggestion just came to mind after I did the casino heist recently with blowing up the vault door.

Yep, it looks like it is a "Detonate Bomb" contact in the phone. Man, that is seriously idiotic.

For anyone stuck on this, don't throw your sticky bombs at the thing. You need to move up to it and it'll give you an action to place the bombs. Once you do, there's a contact in your phone.
