how do i find the verification code for gta5 ibought on steam deck?

Came here looking for this also. I just started GTA Online for the first time from Steam Deck.

Okay. This is ridiculous that we have to do this, but I found a post from 2021 describing this same issue. The key can be found by going to the gear to the right of the "Play" button. Manage > CD keys. Activating the key with the A button on Deck will copy it to the clipboard. Then, when in touch mode, activate the Code field with your finger and then in the bottom right hand corner of the keyboard you will find a "Paste" button. Then deactivate the keyboard with the button next to it, and you should be good to go.

Also screw Rockstar, RDR2 is unplayable on steam deck right now.

How is that Rockstar's fault?

I think playability of a purchase is their responsibility on a platform they claim to support. Particularly if one of their updates broke playability, wouldn't you agree?
