Max Payne 3 gave me huge expectations for GTA5
after playing Max Payne 3 it made me think GTA5 was gonna have the same or even better gunplay and physics but boy was i wrong....GT5 turned out to be like 10 years behind MP3 what a damn shame

i'm not sure if i should have high expectations for GTA6 when not even Red Dead 2 managed reach MP3's level of quality when it comes to physics and gunplay

Absolutely agree, I remeber feeling the same way, thought that if the games are to share some assets then the gunplay would also be somewhat on par. But hey, GTA is a very different beast to closed compact levels and crafted fighting situations of MP3.

But yeah, I found GTA5 shooting, despite dozens of firearms present, much more boring and AI plain and just annoying at times.

GTA6 leaks show limited weapon slots, much like MP3, maybe having to be more deliberate in choosing weapons and having to make compromises would add a grain of complexity to the combat situations. Of course, that feature shown is not final and could be changed.

I doubt we will get anything as good as MP3 in the near future. Almost all companies use normal ragdoll who are somewhat between servicable and hilarious. So maybe MP4 can do the trick or any other "shooter" done my rockstar but i doubt GTA 6 will get even close to that level.

I still like to play MP3 from time to time just to celebrate the incredible euphoria engine. It's a pleasure to the eyes.
Max Payne 3 is the best gunplay in a 3rd person shooter to date, I too had high hopes but GTA 4 and RDR 2 is the best in the "open world" Rockstar games with GTA 5 a step behind those two

Literally everything from MP3 was ported over to GTA V and improved.. what are you talking about? Other than not being able to dive in slow mo and shoot or dual wield pistols.. what is different about MP3 that GTA V doesn't have?

There's not as much gore but that's because GTA is a worldwide seller, MP is not.. it could risk being banned in several countries and not hurt their bottom line. GTA V couldn't afford to lose those countries.

If you cannot tell the difference in MP3 and GTA5 in regards of gunplay you are disqualified to argue about gameplay related mechanics. I am not trying to mock you i am dead serious.

It's like someone cannot tell the difference between japanese and german language.
