I logged in and just lost a bunch of saved outfits. Its a shame
I lost my outfits too, none of them were modded. :/ Oh well
ye its too bad. I guess outfits are more of a priority than fixing bugs in game
But i'm thankful they go bring down the ban hammer faster and also go against modded accounts and other cheated stuff.
Also heard that the Pacific Standard glitch doesn't work anymore
GTAV's ban horror stories have gotten me paranoid about playing online, especially now reading that part about "interfering with other players' gameplay experiences". That sounds pretty open-ended. Like if someone is doing bike stunts and I hit them with a car, would that trigger a suspension? It affected their gameplay experience.
I'm already planning to set aside 2 installs - one for modded singleplayer, the other for unmodded multiplayer. The idea that I could still get banned for nothing and then have no recourse to challenge that ban is worrisome, especially given that the bans sound automatic (and thus prone to error).
Those are ludicrous claims. Back them up with facts please.
I see plenty of new people in online mode every time. Lots and lots of fresh meat around.
As for transparency, yes, it would be nice, however they are not required to do so. This is not the justice system, R* is not the government. Technically speaking, they can ban you for saying "I like yellow socks" and there would be nothing you could do about that. Their game, their rules. Don't like that? Don't play.
Well, it's an open PVP world, so that rule isn't really that open ended. If you run somebody over, then you run somebody over. That's it. It's part of gameplay mechanics. Both parties in this case have another gameplay mechanic to avoid such things: passive mode.
I would argue that it's common sense what you can and can't do.
Some of us have friends. Some of those friends who were interested in buying the game no longer are because they believe they will be randomly banned after spending their money on the game. GTFO with your trolling, you are not getting the attention your needy pathetic self is looking for from here.
Find smart friends and your problem is solved.
