As to the rocky introduction getting into GTA Online, players killing you for no reason, I have two bits of advice. (1) Via the interaction menu (M on keyboard to access), at the very bottom of the list, is an option to enable/disable Passive Mode. That will turn you into a sort of ghost to other players and should prevent attacks. However, cheater trash are in many public lobbies, and they have ways to get around that protection. (2) With the release of the summer DLC, you can now do most freeroam activities (like cargo type work) in protected lobbies, like solo, friends only, and crew only. That means you don't really need to go into regular public lobbies, that have those cheaters and also possibly griefers looking to spoil other people's fun, like destroying cargo during delivery. What I personally do is load the game first into Story mode, then press ESC, go to the Online tab and then join a safe type lobby or join friends.
Edit: Also to clarify - Helicopter movement is done by leaning the body. To move forward, you lean forward, and to go reverse you lean it back. The more you lean, the faster you go.
may be answer here
yeah my left mouse button pitches to the left and vice versa, since I had to change key bindings for pitching upwards for and downwards when using the plane which are now left ♥♥♥♥ and left control, With left and right pitch/roll being on my mouse. I play on a gaming laptop, and don't have money fro a second keyboard or game pad. I've seen people do on their mouse, but I have no clue what their key bindings are for that. The key bindings are honestly ♥♥♥♥ for this game, but thanks for your help!
You can fairly customize your controls to whatever you want, so just go ahead and experiment, until you get all the buttons working like you want. If your laptop lacks the needed numpad keys, then replace them with the arrow keys, or whatever would work for you. Don't depend on the default settings, personalize your game. I for example don't like "enter and exit vehicles" being on F (too many accidental jumping out of a fast moving car, or a high flying plane/heli XD), so I rebound it to RMB and aiming to F, it may look uncomfortable at first, but I got used to it very quickly. It's the game, that has to adapt to your needs, not the other way 'round.
I do need help on which ones I’m rebinding. I think preferable for me, I would like the arrow key, but I don’t know what key to rebind it too, to make me move forward or backwards.
Arrow up - forward/tilt down (airplane)
Arrow down - backwards/tilt up (airplane)
Arrow left - lean left/roll left (airplane)
Arrow right - lean right/roll right (airplane)
- a helicopter is moved by tilting it, so you want to tilt it down to move forward, when you tilt the heli's nose down, you lean the rotor forward that way, which is, what moves the heli -
Arrow up is default bind to take out your phone, but the same function is on MMB (mouse middle button, basically pressing down on mouse wheel), so you won't miss that.
