Paleto Bay - what to do

Hi.

I feel old and dying, so I got a cheap home up in Paleto Bay to get out of the warzone Los Santos.

Any tripadvisor tips for Paleto Bay? Does it have male prostitutes? Any good spots for car meets? Good places to hide from Orbital Cannon? Things worth seeing or doing?

Paleto Bay has a cheap clothing store, a hairdresser, a tattoo parlor and two ATMs.
A little to the West towards Braddock Pass, you'll find a 24/7 convenience store, with another ATM and an eCola machine.

There's a bunker and an underground facility available in Paleto Bay.
And inside your apartment of course.
Other than that, with a Kraken or scuba gear, you could hide in the greatest possible depth in the ocean.
A little further away from Paleto Bay is a tunnel under Mt. Chiliad. Maybe you're safe in there.

Spawn locations for molotov cocktails, night stick and a hammer.
In the back of the 24/7 store you can find a baseball bat.
In the Paleto Bay saw mill you can find a crowbar.

Just had a quick look. Small lobby. No other players in Paleto Bay. Nice. Safe.

This is now my spawn place. I can call inn a Hydra if I need to move south fast.

There is also a Panzer mkIV sunk off the coast. You can't reach it without dieing, But it's there supposidly.


I remember when this game first came out and there was like no reason to go to Paleto bay. You'd never see anyone up there.

Think I'm falling in love with Paleto Bay. Hoping for some properties with ocean view. A place to relax.

I will do some touring checking out the above mentioned tips, tnx for all input so far.

Paleto Bay is on the top of the map way up north. I will invite you to my place some day - if you need a short break from grinding and killing.

I fell in love with this small pitoresque town from the beginning. Now I'm President of the Paleto Bay Cyclists (well technically it is an MC, but with bicycles), which is a viable means of transportation in a small town where it is unlikely to be driven over by a maniac Insurgent.
It isnt as shabby as Sandy Shores, far away from the fray of LS and still provides solutions for all your daily (criminal) needs, Globefish mentioned them, but I like to add the PBFD at the south end of town, where you can find helis to steal, which allows for a quick travel to LS if your business requires you to go there.
And since my businesses provide a lot of work Paleto Bay became quite a Boom Town! For unknown reasons drug addiction and abuse is above national average. ;)

Things PB lack:
- a bus line or even better a commuter train to LS
- Hookers
