Idea: Bank Loan
What if you could borrow money from Maze Bank to use, then pay it back later with a bit of interest added on? The interest increases over time and the loans could possibly be only borrowed one at a time, and have a cooldown. This could be useful for new players who know of good ways to make money but can't afford them because they don't yet have that good way to make money. For example, if a player wanted to buy a CEO/Vehicle Warehouse, they could just borrow the money to do so then, once they have made the money back, can pay it back and continue to make a profit. This will make progressing early in the game faster, making people not get bored and continue to have new and interesting experiences rather than grinding slowly to unlock faster methods of grinding. It could also be used just before buying an apartment/facility/heist so you can make your money back through the heist. You could also buy a fast car then use it in custom vehicle races, then pay the loan back after you have won. It would also make people less reliant on shark cards or the criminal enterprise pack, and get a quick start on the game without paying real money.

don't need a tl;dr the title says it all

This is a must needed addition, I don't think I am the first person to suggest something like this. People can discuss more below.

That right there is why rockstar would not do it. It interferes with their entire reason for even continuing to support the online mode.

It's a neat idea but it goes against their entire business model.

yep, they count on player frustration to drive shark card sales, especially new players who log in and then get mopped by people who have jets and flying bikes and tanks, sniper rifles with exploding ammo, etc etc. All things that require a lot of grinding or a lot of shark cards purchased.

silly idea, I agree the grind is hard but loans are not the answer for new players its actualy easier to get going as the rewards you can go after pay out some not to shaby figures, I mean you get a 1mil bonus just for doing the heists in order! same if you do the doomsday in order. 250k for 50 headshots with a revolver on anyone! the list goes on... loans are just silly and would be of no real benefit better rewards for heists would be nice though(Imean really flagship branch of the bank and they only have 1.2mil on site!, a removal of time restrictions on missions and selling cars would be awesome ye even street cars, who cares if some one wants to grind a few mil selling cars at 10-15k a pop.... loans though are not the answer better rewards and fewer times constrains is....

Doing the heists in order takes a bit of time and can be frustrating with randoms, it's only easy if you have a reliable group of friends. I do have a group of friends to do heists with, they just aren't reliable. Also I have an MC cocaine business and I'm aiming for CEO and a Vehicle Warehouse next but that will take time, I could alternatively just get a loan then pay it back with the profits from that. It costs 2.5 mil for it total (I don't have an office yet because an MC clubhouse provides me with missions to do that pay similar amounts). Also I've gotten into the most recent adversary mode, it is a great way to make money thanks to the double $ and RP event on atm.

Loans won't Work. To be honest i don't know any Game where they do. Its's because they Work complete against every system, gameplay Work with.

Videogames usually motivate Players by two systems:
1. Give them a great Goal to aim for (complete the campaign, killing the next raidboss, buying that Nice Helicopter).
2. Give them a smaller reward in every step taken (Money, Skillpoints, Equipment).

Loans Turn this system upside down by fullfilling the great goal at First and then Take all rewards to pay Back the debt. This will result in leaving the player without a Goal and No longer beeing rewarded for the steps He takes.

Literally killing all aspects of motivation in an Instant.

The problem is really, people just wont leave other people alone to do their own ♥♥♥♥. If people would -stop- blowing up other people that grinds their own ♥♥♥♥ everyone would make money and R* could suck it.

They work in certain games, like the tycoon series or the sim city series ;)

i know its useless to argue with a guy with an anime picture, but, there are some companies that add new amusing stuff to their games, for their players, and COSMETIC stuff ( like skins ) for people that wants to support them, not just locking the new gameplay content under over expensive price, i know, crazy.

I know it's useless to argue with a guy with a meme picture, but, there are people that have played the game a lot since it released. Enough that they could buy the new facilities and vehicles without any extra time investment. But, the new content isn't advertised for the casual player, it's meant for people that have actually played the game long enough to have the funds to buy these things. The game has been out for almost 3 years, more than enough time to have the money for the facility to get access to the new heists.

then why if the recent missions aren't advertised for new players, do they reward the same amount than the old ones ( like, why doomsday heist is nothing more than a harder pacific standard, rewarding nearly the same amount of cash as it )? In lots of MMO games, the end game stuff is expensive, but the end game missions's gains are much bigger aswell, except this one, who just adds expensive cars every week, and eventually, a mission that is copy pasted from a previous one, with a different name.

And no, i played nearly since day one, and still haven't the cash to buy all the latest stuff, had to get myself modded money to buy things like the CEO garage and other I/E content (nearly 50 M ), and today i still dont have enough for the doomsday vehicles. I also know someone that is currently around level 600, who spend his whole evenings playing this game since it came out on PC, and still have to grind a sht lot to afford some smuggle's run content
And it started since the introduction of T20/Osiris: stuff before that, were reasonably priced ( and balanced, with the exception of the hydra ), and the missions rewarded you accordingly.

If you think having to grind 300 times the same 2015 mission ( aka pacific heist ) to afford 10 recent vehicles is ok, i guess you should try some korean MMO's, cause this is on the same level

Could it be because of the fact two people can do each heist? In theory, they do pay out better provided you have less than four players. And while in MMOs the end-game gear is pretty much required to compete in PvP, you don't need every car in GTA.

How have you been playing the game? Mainly freemode or what? Cause I had no problem getting the facility. In fact, since Dec 12 I've gotten: The Facility, Avenger fully upgraded, APC, Insurgent pick-up custom, Akula w/ homing missiles, hanger workshop and a sentinel classic and I'm about to get the Khanjali. So, yeah, it's not that hard to make money if you know what you're doing.
