Aimbot NPCs
What did they do to the bots in this game?

I mean, they have always been annoying but it takes them only a second to kill you now. Not even (legit) players kill you as fast as some bots in this game.

uh...most NPC require atleast 3-5 shots to kill you, assuming there using somethingo ther than a pistol, which is quite a bit considering if your wearing armour that doubles.

personally the NPC in this are fine.

Good. Use cover. Be patient. Not Rambo.

It takes them like 2 pistol shots (not cops but the Import/Export bots for example).

There is no armor that doubles in freeroam mode.

yeah idk man, I felt that since doing the import/export missions.
Enemies have rediculously good aim and seemingly are using much more powerful weapons (often using desert eagles).

I stole a car once, drove up a mountain, enemies gathered at teh bottom and started shooting me from hunders of meters away and hitting me just fine...with pistols.

You just need to adjust your playstyle a bit and indeed use cover more and play more carefully but imo it did not make the experience any better.
Its just silly and rather cheap imo.
Hell most of the time the only sensible thing to do is just to run/drive/fly away, lots of fun I know....

Always have been, gangsters all the way up to PMCs and Military they will ALWAYS hit you no matter what. Driving they drill just the driver compartment 99.99% of the time, their aim is even better then any human while they are running away/driving or best part blind firing. I've been takings consistantly from 150-200 yards away from a gangster with a pistol blind firing from extreme ranges, no human player can actually do that.

I just think it's a bit ridiculous because heists are 1000x easier than freeroam missions.

yeah to me its kinda proof that R* just upped the freeroam AI in a cheap way.
The scripted Heists they have abandoned a long time ago are their own thing so you can get a feel of how things used to be doing those.

I keep saying it, R* is just rather incompetent.
Im not saying creating a fun challenge is not difficult, but just upping agression and accuracy to rediculous levels is not the answer ever.

i had even a situation where a bot didnt came out of his cover and only rised his hand to oneshot me... its ridiculous. often i have the bug that the windows of my kuruma are missing after missions and the AI even shoot me through the little gaps. there was another thread like this but a guy just called everyone who complaind a "noob" and said "learn to play"
even streetthugs have perfect aim so it is a noticible problem. people said that with military vehicles we shouldnt complain but not everyone has access and you cant use that kind of weapons in Import Export missions...
oh and combined with the fact that some bots even spawn behind the player and start instantly shooting makes the hole thing worse (MC Mission, Cracked was it i think. The mission with the safe)

while i do agree that the freeroam NPC primarily with business missions do have 100% accuracy - or atleast damn near close to it which annoys me every time i deliver cars and they spawn and no matter how i drive they managed to do 2-4k in damages even if i avoid every obstacle swurve in an out of traffic they seem to hit perfectly even while they're in a spin...

but i don't mind the difficulty in them being able to kill in a few hits however i usually survive at least 5-6 hits before i die.

if anything i think it just promotes the use of actually using cover an thinking out the best way to accomplish your objective. admittedly in the most annoying way possible.

but i don't think its that bad.

the only npc i'd like nerfed is the car sales npc cause theres literally no way to avoid them.

if you out run them they spawn in front of you. if you stay with in sight of the ones behind you they constantly chip away at your profits. if you kill them , they still respawn , the whole time reducing your profit margin.

other wise i like the difficulty

Not only that, but the argument that you need to get a freaking tank... is A rediculous and B zaps the fun right out of the game for me.

AI in this has this fetish of "Not hiding that It can always act faster and accurate than you" in plain sight. There is no proper player adjustment to it, and dont give me the 'Play on Assisted Aim then' crap.

As a person who spent years playing this on Free Aim, this ♥♥♥♥ is getting old. This and Rapid Firing of AI (Which is the rate of fire of a Minigun coming from a Carbine Rifle / Pistol) is making me wander off from Heists in general. You can google or search youtube for the proof.

PvP isnt any different since the mod menu's getting more common and every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a sniper rifle sticking out of their ass keen to turn the game into a CSGO match.

Dont take this the wrong way, but if you're using the Armored Kuruma, it must be like bread and butter since its the MMO Mentality. Other than that, they buffed the AI. Look out for the Rapid Firing Carbine Wielding on the Roof at Van Setup, and the Merryweather AI guarding the helicopters in the Valkyrie setup.

Taking cover in GTA... Are you kidding? This is GTA, you don't take cover in GTA. You are supposed to be a "rambo" in this game.

I recently started doing Import/Export missions and never had issues surviving some NPCs the 1800 hours before that.

Don't get me wrong, of course you take cover during PvP or heists but you shouldn't have to do that for 2-3 gangsters with pistols...

..Then Lamarr's missions knock at your doorstep with these pricks going Navy Seals, No matter what cover you're in. I'm rather jealous actually.

All embrace the greatest answer to modern games!
But yes I agree some npcs are completely unfair on how their accuracy is. For example the npcs that are encountered during export missions like the Karin Kuruma hideouts are the worst.
