GTA Online keep closing automatically

Online keeps closing automatically while story mode works perfectly fine, how do you fix it?

Explain more, what you mean by "closing automatically"? Error messages? What...?

it just closes no error messages or anything, i tried verifying game files and re install the game, still didn't work

Same thing for me just the other day. I would be doing literally anything and randomly the game goes black for a couple of seconds and then quits to desktop. I also got no errors or logs out of it.

Modders crash people's games, so that is most likely what happened.

yes but since the snow update the game been crashing on its own for ppl and has nothing do with modders its network error from rockstar end meaning its a unstable build.

There's no snow.

the OP didn't specify whether he/she was playing in Solo/Invite Only/Open lobby.

Assuming the OP was in Open Lobby, modders crashing the game for the OP is the most likely scenario.

Edit: For the OP - try restarting your computer and hopefully it clears any memory leak from other applications you might have used. Also, go to in game settings in Story Mode before going online and lower your graphics settings - there might be some setting there that could be causing your game to crash.

Hopefully, you get it sorted out.
