Record A Studio not showing up

I unlocked it, got a phone from Franklin, but then I left the game, when I got back in, there is no "F" in the map. No mission at all. How frustrating, let me play the dlc please

3 methods you could try 2 can be done solo, one requires friend who has already access to the studio

requires Player to own a Bunker. So if some one wants to test it out, here is the method:

1.Public session.
2.Register as CEO or MC (not mandatory)
3.Call your personal vehicle (PV).
4.Enter your Bunker with PV.
5.Hopefully recive the call.


If you having trouble with Franklin call for the Record A Studios tour bug (Short Trip missions) try this:

1.Inv only or public session.(Done mine in Inv Only)
2.Go inside CarMeet with a personal vehicle (mine was 8F Drafter).
3.Get in your personal vehicle inside CarMeet.
4.Press L Ctrl to access personal vehicle CarMeet menu.
5.Choose Mod Vehicle (G) option.
6.Wait till your personal vehicle get to Tuning bay.
7.Set the timer for 15-16 mins and sit inside the LSCM tuning menu.
8.After time passed, exit LSCM shop and CarMeet with your personal vehicle.
9.Drive for 1-2 min.
10. Hopefully youll get the call.

Problem: Player has no access to Record-A-Studios after talking to Franklin about being invited THEN LEAVING THE SESSION WITHOUT GOING

Fix: 1) Register as CEO/MC and hire a friend with RAS access.
2) Both walk in front of RAS and your friend walks inside by choosing to bring nearby friends.
3) Go to the couch and smoke the Special Strand. Your character will be asleep and immobile.
4) Bring up your phone and accept the Lester Heist invite and back out.
5) Once in your apartment you should get the call from Franklin again and see the yellow "F" on the map. DO NOT LEAVE WITH OUT GOING TO THE YELLOW "F" AND PLAYING THE FIRST MISSION

Cool, thanks - if only I had someone that has RAS unlocked - not possible I think, hope they fix it though

I've only done 5 and have the studio missions completed, debunked.

I also wonder how do you change the difficulty already participated in missions where you get 62.5k instead of 50, got all awards for playing as lamar and franklin, but still can't find the option to change difficulty

I had the same issue. Here's how I solved it. I just hung around the studio waiting, I went into the clothes store and messed with an outfit or two and when I came out I waited like 2 minutes just doing nothing and he called. I believe you have to be in the area.

Other people like Gerald and Martin send you a msg when you get near their houses, I believe it's the same here but I can't confirm that. Hang out around the studio for like 10 min and see what happens, drive around it or something.

I could invite you to the mission, not sure if it would help trigger it for you. I'm about to get on for a bit so if you want give me your sc and we can try.

Hmm unless you get invited by other player, normally you can't enter studio without finishing at least one short trip mission.

Yeah that is the first short trip mission I'm talking about. After that you just walk in and smoke. By "hanging out around the studio" I mean outside.

You can do this in the smoke room while sitting there. I remember seeing the option, not sure what I pressed but I was on the couch chilling when I saw it. At that point I had completed them all so no idea if that is a requirement.

Oh yeah then. Personally I got invite after leaving casino, a lot of players did that LSC method, so range might not be a thing here. It's probably more about not getting any other activities interfere with it for a while.

Could be, I have my msg frequency set to 1 hour as well so I probably don't get many interruption from others.

Change it in the smoking room, interaction menu
