There's no way for modders to steal money since they disabled the Vehicle Insurance premiums years ago, but you can get help by opening a Rockstar ticket.

i saw all my money just taken so i left and it was luckily there again. I did this within a second of it leaving cause i knew something was sus

edit: it was like a transaction notification top right (when it minus red) but it was a couple mil to zero

Solved it left the game and started it again and its back:) Weird bugs or whatever it was

last time i heard about this was in 2021
still don't know if it was just messing with the notification system or a real issue, still possible that the creator simply wanted to create some clickbait video with fear.
There was no real big news report about the issue and iam too lazy to check what is the latest menu and its functions but i found this video from 2021

It is only real when it is reported in mainstream, otherwise it is just conspiracy theory or rumors.

but the player doesn't show his bank acc in the video, maybe cheater found a new way to troll others, if they are session hosts and it is restored, when you restart or change session

it helps a little bit in pvp if they steal your ammo and money but this would be for me always the alert to leave session, return to sp or restart game and if nothing helped to restore the damage contact R* support and report about the issue.

many of these clowns simply play white knight so the normal grinder has normally nothing to fear
it is getting annoying in pvp, especially in business battles... simply session change and move on.
