SAVING FAILED after cayo perico

SAVING FAIled failed to connect to rockstar game servers AFTER CAYO PERICO..
but guess what ? the cayo perico heist is completed. it saved that..
now im left asking myself what am i doing with my life investing time on this stupid game stupid devs. this is just a taste of what is to come with GTA6

EXCUSE MY RANT i am just so pissed at this devs for making such a great game and then wipe it up their bottoms. i just wasted my 1hour prep for this heist and completing it i need some time to get over their stupidity.

Wait, it saved your completion of the heist but you didn't get the money? Weird, since it's usually the opposite - in the cutscene, right after you get the envelope, it should say "transaction processing" in the lower right. It doesn't typically save your progress until a few seconds later (after the "heist passed" screen).

Sorry that happened to you. Mine has been stable lately but I almost quit playing a few months ago when one of their weekly updates caused frequent unpredictable crashes to desktop. Luckily it got fixed reasonably quickly.

i couldn't remember exactly where the message popped up but i remember i was at the madrazo house gate reading it. the russian guy also texted me that he will call me when things cooled down in cayo perico ( heist is over ). but my money is still the same, i did not get the 1.5M and after waiting 15 minutes i called quits and rage quit the game. came back 30 minutes later and found that the mission is over, but i still did not get my money. i had about 600K left and its still 600K ... now i have to do the whole mission again. what a waste.

Copy paste that and send to rockstar support . At least it worked for me years ago when i was poor and they refunded me everytime something like that happened.

what is their support lately, idk . not using it anymore .

thanks. although im not really sure whether a refund if ingame $ is what we need. we need them to really look into this and get a fix. i know it may not be easy making games but something as simple as this should be easy to backtrack.

instead whining in the forum simply contact support and you get your refund if your request is legit...

You'll likely not agree with me if this was your first crack at Cayo, but I literally do it once per night on average. I've got the scope down, the prep down, the disruptions... quick quick quick... super easy to get 1.3 to 1.7 $mil net per run (depending on the main target)... I always do it on hard now to get the extra 10%.

Why am I saying this? Because after you do Cayo a bunch of times, you'll be wealthy and forget all about this incident. You'll get better and better and faster and faster at it.

Believe me, I've had worse things happen. Try going two weeks without being able to do any heists/races/jobs due to a glitch caused by a script error during halloween week (which ran for two weeks).

If you can prove or their server data agrees with your statement, you are quite likely to get the money. I did the cmm challenge, all in order and loyalty all at the same time, got the 2 million from the 2 but didnt get the 10mil from CMM, contacted support and told them what happened and answered to their questions, after about week got +10mil into my bank

i DO agree with you man. forgive me i just recently came back to the game but i think if i did have like billions of cash ingame i would still be pissed at wasting 1hour effort for nothing. its not the cash its the time spent doing it that really gets me. i need Dave's chakra stone for this but ill get over it soon.

thanks i have already sent them a ticket. that was 8 hours ago. haven't heard from them yet. hopefully they can make a report to the devs since its recurring already and its been here for more than a year base on some of the comments. they should really fix it.

You must be new if you think they'll fix it... You'll soon learn that Rockstar support is extremely frustrating to deal with. In fact, they suck.

I'm not really sure what you want them to fix.

As far as I can tell, your PC lost communication with their servers, either by something on your end, their end or something in between, at a really bad time. On the occasions when that happens (and for me, they have been very rare occasions), you can lose progress, money or both. But not always, it depends on exactly what's going down. It's really not a big deal unless it causes a glitch that breaks things for your character. Of course it sucks that you lost the money from the heist. Of course. But as I said, you'll likely be doing Cayo a lot and you'll make up for it quickly. Don't think of it as a waste of time, think of it as a dry run or a learning experience.

So once your mission is bugged and dev are stupid and the game sucks :) really ? you should not play games like this iam sure . crying here does not solve anything also .Yep take a long break 3 years and look of the game improved or not :)

use action menu to put on a pair of glasses.

Don't worry too much, it only takes like 45 min to do the entire thing again, you'll be doing it a lot since it's one of the best ways to get easy money.

Oh, I didn't realize this was your first run; I was thinking of the cutscene for subsequent ones. I don't remember exactly where the save points are in the first cutscene.

From what I've read here and on r/gtaonline, R* probably won't understand your issue but will give you some money anyway. :)
