Homing missiles on Buzzard

They aren't that great. I tried to revenge kill a player but it wouldn't lock onto him. Only vehicles as far as I could tell. Then later on I got blown up by another player. Not sure how as I was really high up so maybe he had anti air weapons? I don't know. The player I was trying to revenge kill was following me on his flying rocket? I think it was. I changed session lol. Goodbye ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Well that's normal, you can't lock on players on foot with anything homing. And helicopters are bad for pvp. Unless you use them vs some level 10 newbies who can't fight back.

You can also use Toreador ot Nightshark to bait griefers because it's a regular icon on map.

Akula stealth mode removes icon on map so you can sneak.

Buzzard is still a fast and agile chopper with homing missiles that you can spawn quicly close to you.
Kosatka's Sparrow is a better Buzzard : more agile and no CD on missiles.

Fyi, if you call CEO vehicles or Sparrow just after calling your personal aircraft, your aircraft will spawn close to you.

Good players will dodge missiles, so you will want explosive heavy sniper or explosive machine-gun like Lazer or Hydra.

Yea that's the thing. When aiming with the square it also makes the chopper point downwards and start descending. I use throttle to keep rotors turning. It's difficult to co-ordinate it all together.

-has only a 2 shot capacity before cooldown on reload unlike the new Sparrow which can fire missiles non stop.

-the one remaining thing that the Buzzard is still good at beating is tanks. The missile lock-on range is farther than both tank variants can shoot. So just learn to keep the heli at a safe distance from them and you can destroy them while they have zero defense against you unless they have a secondary machine gunner in the khanjali who can shoot you. Usually players in tanks will realize their disadvantage after first couple missiles hit and start to aggressively roll toward you to get closer... learn to fly backwards and be careful not to crash into stuff behind you. Or they may try to get out of the tank, but many times as they're stepping out of it you'll still have a missile en route to them which will catch & kill their soft griefer bodies next to the tank.

-I use the buzzard constantly as a bait mechanic still. Very convenient to quickly CEO vehicle spawn it next to you in the street, get inside it so your map icon appears as worthless defenseless heli, but stay on the ground and just wait a moment. Like a moth to the flame, idiotic griefers in jets or riding oppressors may quickly begin to vector right at you believing it to be an easy kill. Just before they're too close, quickly get out of the heli and snipe those ugly MFers out the sky with whatever you have (preferably explosive sniper rifle).

I thought a homing missile can't miss? Like what is the point of it tracking the target and soon as they turn it doesn't follow them and misses hitting a building or taking out traffic lol.
I do have a sniper rifle that I found on top of a tower.

Also when shooting from inside a car the gun stops shooting for some reason. I press R to reload. I don't know if it actually does it. But after a few seconds I can shoot again. I'm using the pistol when doing drive-bys.

When shooting from a car, look to the top right of the screen to see the rounds in your current gun. When they count down to zero, you'll automatically reload. There is a pause for this, of course. When shooting from a car, you can also force a reload at any point as long as you're depressing the right mouse button by pressing R. The right mouse button must be down or else instead of reloading, you'll change views.

u can however lock onto players on foot who r using the ballistic armor from interaction menu

so that's what causes it?? wow. i had been so confused lately as to why my personal aircraft spawns in the streets sometimes.

It's been a blessing & a curse though. When your B11 spawns on a crowded street and you can't even take off in it lol.

personal aircraft are NOT supposed to spawn near you, so if it gives an UNFAIR advantage thats the definition of an exploit

planes like hydra and such were never intended so therefore its exploit

we as community to keep spamming this exploit and let ppl know of its unfairness so they do something about it and fix it

I haven't got the hydra. I don't even know what that is. I just have the default one and the buzzard at the moment.
