Armor piercing or full metal jacket?

Recently upgraded my LMG, but I'm not sure which of these two bullet types I should use. Which would be more useful? I already have explosive slugs on my MKII shotgun, so doesn't that make the armor piercing one not as useful?

I suggest to put it on SMG MKII or any pistol you barely use, because LMG feels way better with stock ammo, makes it sometimes really good on missions.

LMG is best with stock ammo, you'll be burning through the ammo for that thing so instead of having to make regular trips to MOC to replenish special ammo, you can just grab it through the quick menu for cheap prices.

You could set up one or two of your assault rifles with special ammo. Or an AR and a SMG. Just so that you have FMJ and AP ammo on stand-by, but i barely them tbh.
