the game probably just reset my progress help

So, one time i was booting up GTA V so i could play with a good friend online, but then i was prompted with a message saying i had to complete the prologue. The thing is, I've already completed the prologue, and i'm scared it's erased all my hard work, my cars, by office building and all that. So if anyone knows a solution comment it please, thanks.

Unless you get banned and reset by R*, you don't lose online progress. Where exactly you get this error and is it actually prologue or online tutorial? Can you load to story mode and then to online?

I got the error when loading into GTA Online. I'll try loading into Story Mode then online tho

worst case redo the prologue until you get to the RR tracks then hit ESC and load into online. there is prob a faster way
No online progress will be lost as it is saved to servers

Also a common problem if a particular file or 2 gets corrupted. More info in link -

I had same thing a while back.
If.you're getting "the complete the prologue" glitch each time you load up you have a corrupt save Just go to user>documents>rockstar games>gta V and delete the file PC_settings.bin.
Redo the prologue again (youll only have to do this once) till after Franklin and Lamar mission. It will create a new setrings file, It wont ask you again. Your online is not affected.
