GTA V activation CD KEY/ non steam game / ... angry

I purchased GTA V some time ago and was everything right until I have played on Windows, but from some time my disk was broke and loose license for windows (Microsoft and computer manufacturer doesn't help) so I do not want to use it anymore or buy new one, so I using now Linus (less problems). Now can't activate GTA V on steam. When try to activate product it shows "invaild CD KEY", when try to activate as "non-steam" stupid steam want me to show the game from my files on disk which game I would like to activate. But how I can install it if I haven't windows.... Steam support is usless because there is no option to make case with that kind of problem and there is no solution for it..
Can someone help with this some how?

Since you said Linux: google/look into solutions.

Edit - Yes, I know it 'can' work on Linux. No- proton is 'a solution'. But if it needs a steam version of gtav - then it is not a good solution for you - because you don't have a steam version of gtav. And- won't get it according to the link above. There are other solutions- look harder, or buy a steam version.

This is gta and not other games...
you can't link your epic acc key or social club key to steam, but you can crossplay with these platforms.
you need a steam key, if you want the steam version.

simply play the social club version by using their launcher.

yeah you purchased a steam key from amazon. but that doesn't count for rockstar games store keys.

solution is steam (proton) but cant activate it just here is problem not in this it will not run on linux because it will if I just activate it

you didn't have to, you implied it by saying it worked on steam.
you are also on linux and that is a problem.

I don't see any problem in using Linux.. There is lot of games running very well even if they just made for windows. So U wold like to say GTA V is not work on steam?:D so why steam selling it?:D I said other games what I have bought in other shops like amazon can be easily activated. That why steam have option to activate key on steam. I just looking solution how to make it (maybe someone do it) and please if You don't know so why U writing even if U dont know windows games runing on linux.

steam is not the same as rockstar games launcher version, the version you own. you clearly don't own it on steam, unless something in your mind tells you that you do.
and amazon doesn't work the same as the key you have. just because one game works that way doesn't mean they all do.
