WTF is with Vehicle Controls on PC? I can't even honk my horn!

There is no key binding for honking your horn or turning on your siren; there's Enter/Exit, Next Weapon, Previous Weapon, Look Behind, Next Radio Station, Previous Radio Station, Next Custom Radio Track, Previous Custom Radio Track, Cinematic Camera, Radio Wheel, Cinematic SlowMo, Duck, Stunt Jump Slow Motion Speed Up, Stunt Jump Slow Motion Speed Down...no lights, horn, siren (horn and siren are the same key).

Please help me out as I've been away from this game forever and a day, there's no owner manual, and the key binding list is terribly incomplete.

...And forget about flying. You have to abandon your mouse, and the numpad commands don't work; the plane refuses to leave the ground because the gawdamned ailerons and elevators won't respond.

"E" sounds the horn. Not sure how you are saying you can't honk your horn, and then say 'horn and siren are the same key'. Yes, they are the same key; tap or hold for different results.

As for the plane, it is far better to fly with a controller because having to use two hands on the KB is just plain stupid imo (left hand to yaw/etc right hand to pitch on num keys), but if you HOLD LMB (or is it RMB?) down, then moving the mouse forward and backward will pitch up/down.

Well, just like the DETAILS above regarding key bindings and honking the HORN (which is NOT in the DETAILS 100% accurately described), I actually figured it out just before you replied; not knowing the key binding BECAUSE IT IS NOT IN THE INCOMPLETE KEY BINDINGS LIST IN SETTINGS, is precisely why I could not honk my horn...and I can say Horn and Siren are the same key because I remember that they are the same key.

I didn't say that I'd never played the game before, I said, "Please help me out as I've been away from this game forever and a day." Do you remember every single detail of every game that you've played in the last seven years? I am not ashamed to admit that I don't, and although my sixty-year-old memory isn't as quick as it was when I started gaming in 1978, I'm not exactly in the earliest stages of Alzheimer's, not by a long shot.

I don't use a controller. I've tried them, and I don't like them. If I wanted to use a controller, I'd buy an XBOX or a Playstation...which I also don't like. However, I'll try the mouse thing. Aircraft suck in this game; the only aircraft I consider sensible to fly in this franchise are the helicopters—all planes and jets suck.

I do appreciate your answering; don't get me wrong; I just didn't appreciate the negative subtext written with...condescension? contempt? mild derision?

My only issue is the "true sight" buttons in story mode not working and even that is easy to fix I'm just lazy...

All you gotta do is configure hotkey/button settings depending on what you're using, "keyboard and mouse" or "controller." Make sure if it is a third-fourth party controller that you have it completely up to date and you've coordinated its button map by using the specified application for your device. I have an 8-bit-do SN30 pro+ controller, the original one from nintendo's workshop, so it is able to be a universal controller for anything from switch, pc, tablet, etc. depending on if they have a USB socket and compatibility (and button mapping), they can be played with it.

Keep gamepad plugged for flying and even for driving, much more fun that way.

just reset controls cause you can honk lol.
apart from that if you're complaining about normal controls then just learn how to drive. if your peanut sized brain still can't figure it out then play with a controller

Gee...like that wasn't the FIRST thing that I tried...just sayn': "E" was actually the first one that I tried—is it my fault that there was a temporary glitch rendering it inoperative for a short while?
