Game crashing to desktop with no warning or error

Came on after a week off and me and my crew were all crashing mid mission, ruining the gameplay. Is this something new as I’ve hardly ever had crashes like this before. In fact this game is usually very stable, now between three of us we got “desktopped” about 9-10 times last night. Anyone got any idea what’s going on?

without log files we can't help you.
logs are in rockstar games folder in documents, just pick the latest modified one and use pastebin.
and your crash details would be in eventviewer in windows.

unfortunately there is not a simple fix for this particular crash, it literally means generic crash. but have a read at this if you got time and want to try to solve.

Same for me just perma crashes every 10-20 Minutes, tried like 30 different fixes, nothing helps

Same here. Last time it took something like a 100 pages thread for something to be done. I hope it will be faster this time.

EDIT: 285 pages thread and six months

I can't even start the game anymore. It loads the Rockstar launcher but when the Application should open nothing happens.

Processor: Intel i5 8600 3.6GHz
Ram: 16 Gb
S.O.: Win 10 Pro.
Card. GTX 1050.

i have the Exception code: 0xc0000005 thing. I had no problems until yesterday.

Latest drivers and temperature do not go beyond 47º
Crashing time: Random. Goes from 30 secs to 1 hr.
Crashing sites: Cayo Perico 3 times : 1 in gather info for heist, 2 times in heist itself. Los Santos 2 times on del Perro Pier (my Kosatka was there).
Playing Online Friends private. No mods installed.
Game files were verified.

Same issue. Play for a few minutes before CTD. Problem started early this morning.

crashes with either version of the game

have to wait for a fix from R*

I crashed trying to recon Cayo Perico, I found 2 chests and it saved the money but it didn't save my scouted locations. It saved the map cause everything was the same when I went back but still annoyed I spent an hour chilling looking around for funzies.

Yup. Happened to me yesterday. It started happening to my friend today and it literally just happened to me again.
