Is Cayo Perico heist bugged?

I saw a couple of videos as well as playing the "tutorial" for the heist. But whenever I shoot a camera (without anyone looking), a few seconds later the alarm sounds, always... Same happens when I try to turn them off. How am I supposed to bypass them if I cannot shoot them or deactivate them. I see people doing it and alarm doesn't go off. What am I missing or is this just bugged?

yeah the heist has a few bugs, but it is still the easiest of all heists


it is a common problem of gta when 2 player shoot at the same target, some kind of latency issue, precise headshots should still work or use the sticky bomb at the parked valkyrie in the compound

we blew ALL of our ammo 2 or 3 times. trying to kill the gunnes who didnt take dmg. the pilot didnt take dmg and the heli itself didnt take any dmg.
We tried destroying it when its parked on the ground. It was indestructable. We also blew 100% of our ammo and explosives on it while trying. eventualy we canceled it, since it made the escape impossible cause sooner or later the hit enough bullets. i hope next try will be bug free =(

you need 4 sticky and blow them up when he is airborne

Yeah i prefer grinding special cargo since it's guaranteed money unlike cayo heist which i hate.

i cant remember exactly, but im pretty sure that i have no sticky bombs but somekind of other throwable explosive. also i called in a weapons drop standing to close to the watchtower and the weapons landed on the roof and i couldnt get em that try xD.

Gitting gud with Cayo Perico means getting a fu¢kload of money.

Watching some tutorial videos how to get efficent in cayo perico heist, you will walk out with 1.1-1.7 million per heist (even more this week). One heist takes approx. 1 hour to complete.

Crates on the other hand takes 5 to 10 hours to fill up a large warehouse and even then you're not quaranteed to get the 2.2 million if your shipment gets destroyed or you get the lovely titan sell glitch.

El Rubio is invulnerable and so is his heli, hence stealth. If you want to have even a chance to stop his helicopter then you have to detonate the sticky bombs immediately after he takes off, although they might've already patched this already.

i remeber doing the heist once and im pretty sure i shoot few magazines into the heli and it flew of. if i remember right pavel says that rubio is retreating or so.

yes you can destroy it with bullets too simply aim for rear rotor

i also had a bug where the guards in the casino heist didnt move when i wanted to stealth, making it basicly impossible with the weapons i had. didnt retry it since, cause of other heists

I think thats the intended way actually. Once he takes off, he becomes invincible(not literally, but practically, as in you only have 900 ammo with you, he goes down around 4000-5000). But you can blow his heli before he takes off.

He flies off but he's still invulnerable. You stand no chance anyways if you're pursued by his helicopter and air support

I contacted rockstar regarding to this issue and they recommended I verify the game files but still this issue continues
