First Time, Soloing Cayo Perico, Any Tips and Tricks?

So I just got the sub, I was doing Cayo a bit with 3 other friends, this is the first time Im doing this by myself. Any tips and tricks to maximize how much money I get? best method and all that

yeah but you have to kill them at certain times and certain orders so they dont see eachother and alert the minigun guy has no helmet by default so feel free to headshot him

K, Im just trying to do the best route as solo with least resistance and maximize profit, I dont care if its not ALL the money, but 1 mil plus is prefered

Here's a summary of what others and I mentioned:

For the stealth approach you only need the following preps:

-Plasma Cutter (or Safe Code for Bail Bonds)
- Fingerprint Cloner
- Cutting Torch (You need to find the drainage tunnel entrance during the scope out first, underwater at the back of the compound)

- Weapons (any setup will do, I prefer Crackshot which gives you an AP Pistol and Sniper Rifle. Make sure you buy surpressors on the Finale Setup screen)

- Approach Vehicle: Kosatka or Longfin

Secondary Loot (from most to least valuable, with the inventory weight of a full stack):

1. Gold (66%, 2/3 of a bag)
2. Coke (50%)
3. Weed (37,5%, 2 make 75%)
4. Paintings (50%)
5. Cash (25%)

For the quickest routes check on Youtube, speedruns in particular may have good info.

The crackshot loadout actually comes with suppressors; you don't have to buy them (at least it does for me - I guess it's possibly because it's hard mode or due to my rank).

Also I believe gold is actually 2/3 of a bag - if you fill your bag with gold, there will be half remaining on the second stack.

My strategy was to scope out loot at the main and north docks, then start at whichever one had the best. Grab a guard uniform if convenient, then the loot, then steal a boat and take it to the drainage tunnel entrance. Grab the primary, and escape through the main gate. Take the bike from the guy near the gate and ride it over the cliff and swim away, or ride it to the main dock and escape in the boat.

Alternatively you can start at the drainage tunnel with the Kosatka, and grab secondary loot in the compound using the double-keycard-door glitch, if you want to be slightly illegitimate about it. Primary and escape strategy remain the same.

You'll always end up with over $1M since the least valuable primary (tequila) is $900k, and a bag full of the least valuable secondary (cash) is around $350k. That puts you around $1.1M after the 12% in fees.

Iirc what makes surpressors free is if you do the finale at night, so for any loadout, not just Crackshot. Can't confirm though because I've always gone with Crackshot at night, and even though I did notice not actually having to pay the 5K for them, I have always selected it on the finale screen anyway just to be sure.

And you're right about the gold weight, sorry, I've always gone solo and didn't try that glitch. I've edited it in my post.

I think no one mentioned it because it is redundant for the stealth approach, just like the disruption preps. ;)

Well when i had trouble with the heist itself no one ever mentioned that part so yeah.

I saw another person do it via a youtube vid, and it looks like he just went straight for the files and safe and just got whatever he needed loot wise at the docs

I tried some other videos on YouTube but their routes were riskier and slower but if you do it exactly like this guy, it's faster and always works. he just runs to the office then after exiting the building gets everything that's on the main dock and leaves. You only need to kill 9 or 10 guards.

Well I did it, took me 4 tries but I did it, came out with 1.5 in cash...I definetly thing Ill be doing it again

Can I just say you guys have been very helpful. I just did the heist again and I didnt have any retries, came out with 1.3 mil. Thank you so much, Ive found a routine that works with me
