Random changes - how to stop them

While gta 5 has its great things, it also has some royally annoying things. Below are two that really bug me and I wonder if there is any way to fix them:

1) I go through the trouble to pick a nice outfit for my character. Start playing. Maybe do a mission, other stuff or save restore. Sooner or later (often within an hour) I notice that my character is no longer using the outfit I chose.

2) On my desktop this is not a problem, but when I play on my laptop and drive... The radio and weapon keep changing! Without me doing anything other than just driving (wasd) and moving the mouse to keep things in focus.

Just in case it is relevant, I play Story mode, and the laptop is an old Razer that is still more than powerful enough to play the game without other problems.

Suggestions would be welcome.

1) each outfit you give your character should stay on until you change it yourself, not sure why it does that but when youhave a outfit that you like go to a clothes shop and click on "edit custom outfit" and youll be able to save your outfit for your character, then if it occurs again just go to one of your appartments or ceo offices and change otfit and your "saved outfits" should be there with the one you saved at the clothes shop. you can save about 10 i think so you can change your outfit around without worrying about losing your other outfits.

I tried it. I am able to buy clothes but I do not see any option to edit a custom outfit.

Could that be an option of Online and not available in Story Mode?

Clothes:
Missions and those quick scenes when you change to a character seem to ♥♥♥♥ with the clothes you selected.

about the weapons:
Set all weapons in the wheel how you want them then quicksave with the phone. Now it should save for all characters if they have those weapons. Will also carry over to online (DOES NOT work with the MK2 weapons). If you drive a car and cycle the weapons it will change the weaponwheel selection outside of the car.

When you put together a nice outfit immediately go to a safe house and save it as a wardrobe option. This way you can pick the outfit from the style menu on demand even if the game changes the outfit for a job.
