Highest legit level you've seen in 2021?

I have a grinder friend who's made it to IIRC rank 1050 playing legit.

5K hours. I'm at about rank 550 and just shy of 2,300 hours (around 50 of that in story mode).

I saw someone having level 1950. He said he repeated heist finals. I don't know how much that is legit but he is not on my friend list anymore. I suffer with preps and setups all the time, so for me it's unfair to use glitches to play only finals.

(I think, it's around level 1000 that can be achieved with clean play, without tricks. But this is only my opinion.)

You can see from Caped Crusader's answer. It really takes a long time. And I respect his work a lot. :)

People who grind levels. I ask, why? I can understand money grinding as that gets you stuff like property, cars etc. But levels are purely a number after you unlocked all?

Lot of my ranks are due to racing often, at least I've never focused on trying to level up (rank benefits stop at 200 as I understand it), and in the case of my rank 1000+ grinder friend I think he was more interested in building up his bank account to having solidly north of $100m on hand.

highest legit rank is 2500 or so anything is higher has been cheated

game came out in 2013 and you could transfer over to pc in 2015 most people like me transferred over form console to pc in 2015 so highest legit rank is about 2500 - 3000
anything higher is safe to assume cheater

we dont grind levels, the games keeps leveling us without our permission, if there was an item to buy to stop getting rp id get it asap

im rank 985 and have 5357 hrs, seems about right
my alt is rank 435 and has 1283 hrs

cause max mugger take used to be 100k before they nerfed it XD

and before that on console at release you could get 1million from mugger take XD
