sad but true
You guys do understand there is a significant amount of people that want to play in a PvE environment right?
One of Rockstar's major failures with this game and RDRO is trying to force MP interactions that are negative. Some people dont want that. There is nothing fun about minding your own business and being blown up randomly by an orbital cannon or star wars missile bike. Seems like R* has at least started to figure that out.
And you can pay 385,000 per for up to two drivers who both do about half the profit margin in damage to the car on its way to delivery.
To be clear, it's like this. There are three different 'classes' of cars I've found so far.
The modifications cost 20, 35, and 50K and the profit is 20, 25, and 30K respectively.
So if you get the top-end car, you pay 50K, and then on delivery you get 80K if you did no damage to the car on delivery. If you get a driver - again, that you paid almost 400K to employ - to deliver it, you'll probably only get around 65K.
If the drivers were free and did damage, that'd be fine. Being so expensive to even hire, they should be perfect or damned near-perfect drivers.
Didn't say I wasn't ok with the update. Point is that R* continues to release things like this while doing minimal to actually repair broken aspects of the game... mainly a better security solution for online.
Yeah, I've kinda given up hoping for them to fix that part of the game. They had a chance to do it when they released RDR2, but they didn't, so I don't see why they'd still do it with GTA5 after all these years.
Maybe in GTA6?
