Help my GTA V frequently Lag/Stutter even though my PC already have the recommended requirements
So i just bought GTA V couple of days ago, and I thought that it would run smoothly on my laptop. My laptop spec is i7-8750, 8gb ram, GTX 1050Ti. But everytime I play the game it always suffer from lag and stuttering. I've already turn off Vsync and turn my settings to normal. And still laggy. Why? Is it because I still use HDD (7200 rpm) instead of SSD?

My gaming PC has a HDD and runs smoothly with it. Loading times can be a little longer though.

Try capping your fps to something lower.

Okay, but I've already done that too bro, and still the game experiences stuttering. It runs stable at around 50-60 fps, and it often stutter, mainly when driving in high speed and when you crash your vehicle.

ram buddy needs to be 16gb min, ( i know it says 8gb min spec, but 16gb will solve all your problems )

I have the same problem on i3-3220 12GB GTX 650 2GB but i can say I'm probably under the minimum requirements. The game runs at 50-55 fps and then suddenly stops for like half a second. Still, enabling FXAA and MSAA prevents it from stuttering but keeps the game at a constant 30-35fps. Probably bottleneck effect. That worked for me.
change grass quality to normal and turn off MSAA and you will be fine.

i am serious, the game runs like trash no matter what your specs are
I have played GTA V since day 1 on PS3 and bought PC version day 1, today I started it at the usual performance settings with vsync on, and it has been stuttering to 45 FPS all the time, this never happened before with gtx 1070 i5 6600k and 16gig ram and SSD, wondering if its some of the garbage online bloat that is screwing with the game

75fps is not "fine" for that kind of setup, you should be targetting 144

same for me, this update screwed the performance even more it seems, i was playing in a full lobby and getting 55fps on a 2070 super, ryzen 5 3600 and 32gb ram with an ssd
