RTX 2060 running poorly
Hey, guise. I have an RTX 2060, Ryzen 3600X, 16 GB RAM 3200 MHz, SSD, 1080p, updated drivers, everything. Yet, the game is running quite poorly with drops to 40 FPS. Tried to disable V-Sync, the problem did not solve. I am playing offline, so this is not a internet lag thing. Is someone having the same issue? Is this a GTA V patch bug or maybe a NVIDIA driver problem? Because I don't recall having this problem months ago.

That's weird I have a GTX 1070 and the game runs pretty well for me, its probably something to do with the game itself, I would suggest reinstalling but that could be a waste of time.
I had this issue, go into control panel and make sure your gta 5 is using your gpu instead of your igpu on your cpu :)

does a 3600X have an igpu? unless you've already started to ignore op becuase of the hijacking that has occurred. then carry on.

op.
delete your settings.xml then reset your settings.
use 2xmsaa fxaa off tsaa off and the rest maxed. use the resolution scale in advanced to find a good fit for you that has good fps with little jaggies with everything else in advanced maxed.

good luck.

Ryzen 3600X doesn't have integrated graphics.

It kinda worked only by using MSAA 2X, even with everything maxed out, with no res scaling. The thing is that it uses 80% to 90% of my GPU. That is almost the same amount that Cyberpunk 2077 uses on Ultra preset, which is insane. Frames locked at 60 FPS, btw.

Is that normal? Is GTA V supposed to use that much GPU? Does it happen with everybody? And more important, is it something that came with a new update or something? Because I don't remember to run into such problems last year when I played the game, idk.
