I opened up a ticket explaining the situation. I managed to find his socialclub profile name. (Wrote a ticket in RS support). I later contacted rockstar support on twitter (some reddit post suggested they respond) they never did. Have captured footage of crash, the SC name. I get a generic response telling me to write them a ticket. (which I had done but no response).
I hope cancer gets the loved ones of these mod menu developers, because they literally created it. GTA online is run and managed by cheaters, not rockstar.
I was trying (every
way I know how) to get their social club name, but their username was changing everytime and they were always the names of content creators. And they were so fast at crashing my game. Sometimes so fast they didn't appear in the player list. It's so annoying.
It wont help even if you manage to get their names. I tried to bring this to attention on GTA online forums "RS", I posted the links (videos) and socialclub names, the moderator in rockstar forums removed the names and links (as if they were protecting one of their own) edited my post without consent, not even an alert or notice.
Some said VPN helps, but I havent tried.
Now now...
You're entitled to hate them, and call them almost every name under the sun. However, we wouldn't want you getting Banned from Steam or Rockstar over some silly little threat made in the heat of the moment.
Never wish bad omens of the Families of those A###H###'s; sometimes, those families don't even love them.
OK, so I've had this exact issue on PlayStation 4.
There is a solution, technically, but it does take some doing.
For PS4:
1. Uninstall Game
2. Turn PS4 OFF
3. Upon turning PS4 on, make sure you hold the ON Button until two Beeps are made
4. Select the 'Rebuild Database' option
5. Restart PS4 System after this is done
6. After restart, go into your Account Settings and 'Refresh Licences'
7. Do a CLEAN Reinstall of the GTA-V
8. Play a Session in GTA Online Private Mode for a bit (The Game needs to Save Data)
9. Press Pause and select 'Leave GTA Online'
10. Restart GTA-V after a full System reboot
DONE!
For PC:
1. Uninstall Game (use a Cleaning Program such as REVO Uninstaller or CCleaner)
2. Ensure your System checks the Registry and cleans it
3. Use an Anti-Virus Software and do a Deep-Scan
4. Clean your HDD/SSD via the Properties of the Drive
5. Tell your System Drives (do this for all of them) to 'Check For Errors' (Drive/Properties)
6. Reboot System upon completion
NOTE: Checking for Errors can take a few minutes, maybe even hours if a fault is found
7. Reboot System again after logging in at the main screen
8. After Reboot, you should be OK to Reinstall GTA-V
DONE!
Additional note for PC Users:
It may be beneficial to go into Command Prompt, to clean one more thing. This may even fix other DNS Errors on your Browser, especially if your system has never done this before.
Type (without the ""): "ipconfig/flushdns"
I have to do this quite often, as the DNS Server I'm on is prone to errors (Blame ISP), so I have Batch File to do this. Batch File Lines are as follows:
echo Current Time and Date:
time /T
date /T
echo.
echo Flushing DNS - Stand By...
echo.
ipconfig /flushdns
echo.
pause >nul
exit
Save the above Code into Notepad, then set the Filetype to .bat and you're done.
For everyone wondering, why so many steps... It's because I don't know how bad the situation is, and neither do you. Better to clean it up as best you can the first time than to not clean it up enough and have the same problem 5 minutes from putting the Game on.
IF, after all those measures, you're still getting problems... You will need to get a new Router, as that's the bit that's been breached (as is what happened in my case). In extreme situations, Private Data can be compromised, and Rockstar will do nothing to help you even if you do prove that your Identity has been Stolen. Yes, this happened to me, making it the third time I've been a Victim of Identity Theft.
Funny Story every time.
> Virus on a Website (wannacry I think it was), just because I wanted a MOD on a Game*
> Stupidity because my father thought that I could make money from doing Surveys
> Then a Hacker on GTA-V for walking into a Public Session.
* MOD's are different from Hacks/Trainers. A MOD is something that is permitted by the Developers, an example being any Game that has the Steam Workshop. A Hack is just a tool to ruin everybody's day. People who create MOD's for a Game, are creative Artists. Hackers are just T###s that are just destructive.
- Never touch public session ever again
I don't bother with Public Sessions, it's just a war of Hackers.
