What are you trying to do exactly?
If your trying to make money or sell products, then do it in a solo session. All the game modes are still there. If you just want to grief others and cant, then i got no sympathy for you.

this game has an option to enable passive mode, which will make you appear as a "ghost" so they can't kill you. try using that.

Just keep switching new lobbies, there's always that "one lobby" where it's got 0 griefers, and I rarely see modders in GTA, I only encounter like 2 - 3 every month,

If switching lobbies doesn't work, then try finding the "treasures" that give you tons of cash and RP, so they're a great start. There's:

- revolver-type of pistol (forgot the name)
- Stone Hatchet
- Navy Revolver


all 3 of these gives you rewards upon completing their respective missions which can be tough without the help of guides.

On top of that, they also have a challenge upon getting the weapon that rewards you even more cash and RP! which gives you 6 ways of earning cash and RP, this is a very good start especially when a low rank.

Or if you wanna get some action done and truly get a great head start, you can always try and do the Criminal Mastermind Challenge on the Original Heists (and others if you wish) which can earn you more than $10,000,000 (Original 5 Heists) it's a tough challenge, but can be rewarding if you have a good team, and you're a great co-operator.

There's a neat easy way to doing it but I won't mention it here, you'll need to do some digging on google.

There's also other ways of getting started too to avoid the bombardment of griefers / modders.

you can't use weapons against NPC in passive mode, you can just walk around and drive

solo session will not let you do missions either. the only option is firewalling so other players cannot join your online session, it seems

but then what's the point of playing an online mode? the solo is great for this

they should really put at least some effort in fixing this and the other bugs, they don't give the game away for free and are not an indie team

Why you don't play against bots then? It would be the same for you, and you won't bother anyone.

The only pleasure you can get when cheating vs real players is to bother them. That's the problem for other players, they just want to... play.

Glad you finally understood what OP was talking about. I was sure you could do it, it took a little bit longer than what it should but hey, you can't cheat IRL.
