What is the fastest car in GTA ONLINE?

Benefactor Krieger and Progen Emerus are the fastest super cars. The Ocelot Pariah is faster than everything and the vehicles with a boost are faster than all of them.

If you want to know the fastest cars just youtube "Broughy" videos although some have updates. If you like sports cars and want speed get the Pariah or the Itali RSX
If you want Super cars (though the fastest supers are slower than the fastest sports) get the Krieger

Okay you wanna race with that Pariah against my Toreador? I'll leave you in the dust from the first second we say go and you'll never catch up. In a real (GTA) world situation, the Toreador is much faster. If tuned properly it can boost around corners and that every 2 seconds, the Pariah doesn't stand a chance.

Edit: Also, I know he wants it for racing most likely which is why I recommended the two fastest Super cars and the fastest sports car which also happens to be the fastest overall (without boost).

Best car overall I would say is the Krieger, it's nice to drive and is fast, compared to the Emerus which is very similar but personally I find it harder to drive.
If you want speed go for the Deveste Eight, and if you want to turn corners go for a Vagner. Otherwise just look for videos on youtube from guys like Broughy1322 who is known for testing cars performance in a track.

And another example in the supers category, the Vagner is slower than the Krieger and Emerus but gets faster lap times due to its cornering and grip. If you want a Super car, choose any one of those

You're the one arguing, i simply stated facts there was really no need for you to come back and reply, after all this isn't your post but you kept coming back, you'd already said your piece and i said mine but you got all shirty and started offering me races lol. You seem to misunderstand the word "fastest" which is what the OP wanted, and give misinformation.

you should also mention, that there is a huge difference between fully upgraded and stock versions, like it is used in no-custom races
which can happen often, especially when host is low rank and got smoked nonstop.
Pariah isn't so super as stock version, it get smoked even by calico, the upgrade make a huge difference.

There was also the speedglitch related to lowstance and low grip tires which turned tuner cars into rockets, don't know if r* already fixed this.

i would not call toreador a gimmick car, while it is your life insurance in freeroam.
It is the only explosive resistent car with boost and has rockets to respond to threats like pesky mk2

it is also awesome for usage in heists.
