How to Have a Functional Gun Locker
Just wanted to share a method to have a totally functional gun locker that works even on missions and never resets. There's only three gun lockers in this game that work as intended: the Avenger (Weapon Workshop), the Casino Penthouse (Office expansion) and the Arcade (Personal Quarters) gun lockers.

The other gun lockers are bugged and will interfere on your inventory even if you just OWN them. These are:
Office (as the Gun Locker renovation)
Bunker (as the Gun Locker renovation)
Clubhouse (as the Gun Locker renovation)
Facility (as part of the Security Room renovation)
Nightclub (as part of the Security upgrade)
Arena Workshop (bundled with the property itself)

The Mobile Operation Center is the only exception. The MOC's gun locker doesn't work properly but also doesn't interfere with the working ones.

If you already have a property with a interfering gun locker, you can get hid of it by changing the location of the property. The only exception is the Arena Workshop, if you own it you will always have a bugged gun locker, since the bugged gun locker comes with the Arena and you can't sell this property.

Hope it helps.

You know there is a setting to allow / block gun safe settings in free roam, right?

Yes, with this guide you will never have to use it again. Your custom loadout will work during missions and will always be active without any resets or bugs.

Yeah... pretty bad by Rockstar.
Specially the Arena. If a player buys the arena he screws his gun locker forever.

Welp, now I regret to have my bunker upgraded.

I have gun locker in MC quarters, Office, Bunker, and MOC, because why not, it is just monopoly money, but now this.

Edit: Someone should make 1 hour video of arena failure. There was so much potential, yet what happened was catastrophic failure. As Destruction Derby fan who have spent tons of hours in Dirt Showdown Arena looked like a great thing, but no, it was not so. Deserted arena.

... What do you mean interferes?
Never saw any interference/gun locker issues?

Some of them will reset your loadout when entering the property, some will disable the loadout during missions, some will disable the loadout after missions, some will disable it when logging in the game, and lots of random stuff that makes you reset your loadout in the interaction menu.

If after joining online your custom loadout isn't already active or doesn't stay active 100% of time during missions and free roam, it's probably because of a interfering gun locker listed.

Yeah, I don't bother myself with it, just accept full loadout all the time.

Interesting.. Have you tested this yourself or have a source?

One thing I noticed myself was when I bought the gunlocker for my MC clubhouse, every time I bought a new upgrade for that building the loadout would reset. No matter what gunlocker I used to edit the loadout.

And owning most of the "bugged" ones, rarely the loadout still carries over into a contact mission while it does not 99% of the time.

Yes, I have tested.
On my PC account here I avoided buying any gun lockers. Only bought the gun locker from the Arcade and it works flawlessly.

My source was this article: https://leo3418.github.io/collections/gta-online-guides/gun-lockers

Yeah, online is used to have some bugs like this one. But Rockstar only seems to care on fixing them when it affects positively to players income.

Yep, if it is not something that gives easy cash to players, Rockstar ignores it.

Thanks for the link. I made a bugreport and included the link to that guide. While R* indeed seems to focus on profitable exploits and glitches above all else, from my experience they do address other bugs too. Some time ago it was impossible to call contacts for certain services, like asking Lester to remove a wanted level. I reported it, got a quick response they were looking into it and only a couple of weeks later it was fixed.

I suggest anyone reading this to report it as well and include the link to that guide too. Perhaps with such detailed and specific info the devs are able to fix it easily and soon.

Good luck with support, they will most likely be clueless on what you tell them. Or best case they will "fix" all the properly working lockers instead.
