why do I suddenly own a yacht??
just showed up on my map today. didn't buy it, didn't even look at yachts

When players leave a server, or get kicked, or when you turn a public session into a solo session, the yachts stay behind. Even if the player that owns it is long gone. If you start a completely new session it will be gone.

How do you know YOU own it? And not a different player? Can you acces any of the functions? Can you move it to a different location?

Yeah but is it owned by YOU?
Can you call the captain and relocate it?
If not, it's not yours.

im only 1 in session. its not my yacht but it does say my name when I board it. I can't do anything on it, like enter a room or something. im solo session how is this yacht here?

Its a bug or hacker bugged lobby just reload the game or change lobby and it should go away ignore it for now

Do you have a yacht icon on the HUD that has your name on it? If not, then that yacht isn't yours

Happens from time to time. But sadly we can't do anything but board it. Once you do any mission or job or change sessions it will disappear. Just a game bug that's all
