Do you actually need to scope one of them out or is one driving around the Island no matter what during the Heist Finale?

If not, one can just enter the Compound with the Grappling Hook instead while being disguised with Guard Clothing right?

I just scoped the sewer entrance and stopped worriyng about all of that.

The supply truck spawn varies between about 4 set locations. I found it at the airstrip and the north docks for example in the past, when I was looking for it. Combined with the guard uniform, you can drive it all the way to the main compound gate for a free entry (and a GTA award too). The disguise in itself makes cameras ignore you, and the normal guards take even longer to notice you (or might ignore you too like the casino big con, didn't test myself). Inside the compound, guards with the red vision cones will detect you even with the guard disguise. You can also use the grappling hook even without the disguise, it's fine. Nowadays I also just enter through the drain tunnel and skip most of the hassle.

I knew all that already

I just wanted to know if I need to take a photo of the truck or if the truck is driving around the island during the finale anyway

It will be at it's spawn point regardless if you took a photo or not. It will be stationary, it won't be making rounds like the Winkys and Squaddies, if you're asking that. Sometimes the spawn point is already at the compound gates, tho.

When I did my compound entry with a supply truck, it was patrolling on a road around communications tower, passing the guard checkpoint by the compound. I guess this one could be like extra one. And rather comfortable to steal, since it drives by where you wanna go. Though could be rng as well..

i only did the supply truck entrance twice
- for the award on first try
- because i didnt feel like sns approach
i will be doing more kosatka approachs than northern approaches ig...

You don't need any photos, all POIs (including truck) and secondaries can be used without them.
