people already manage to glitch some pegasus vehicles into the new map
Just for the record - I'm not looking for glitches or exploits. Just want to know how the mechanics are intended to work.
Yeah, I figured as much. Pity, but I sort-of understand. Despite being a solo heist, it still does have room for team play. And yeah, I recall that's what people were suggesting. I've been trying a "half-ass" approach to the heist, where I rush the recon focusing on just the mansion. Works in multiplayer, but I might need to put in some effort scoping out at least one of the docks in single player.
Thanks for the explanation, everyone.
It doesn't seem to always spawn in all locations, though I have a sample size of only two iterations. Could well be wrong. Either way - it helps to scope out boltcutters, at least. I find the Cayo Perico heist pretty daunting in Loud as I don't like the equipment available to me (no LMGs), so I try to do it in Stealth if I can. Helps to know where things are in advance, in those cases.
Besides, I'm not trying to "farm" the heist. Don't really have a lot left I actually want to buy at this point, other than maybe a Toreador, so I can afford to take it a bit slower.
Yeah, I was wondering about that. Can the torch cut through boltcutter chains? You said "laser cutters" which I've not seen, but I assume you mean the cutting torch since that's the underwater grate tool. Thanks for the tip :)
Commented the same thing when I first saw it. "My character can reach both readers if she stretches her arms out a little. But yeah - it's a two-player lock, I get it. I'll get my solo loot elsewhere.
The only thing you HAVE to scope out on repeats is the main loot - same as with the casino. Everything else will spawn whether you scope it out or not, though some items tend to "move around." Bolt Cutters and the like won't always be in the same spot. Secondary Loot locations are always the same, but the loot inside them changes.
If you have an easy means of cutting the cages (which I'm told the cutting torch is), you can just go on memory and not bother casing the loot.
Roger that, and thanks for the clarifications. This is really, REALLY good news. Thank you :)
