Low FPS in GTA Online?
RTX 3090, its around 48 FPS. Playing around with resolution and graphics settings doesn't help fix it. Tried it with Vsync on and off.

Try using the settings shown here, both settings options should work, though I am not sure which will give the better results on your particular build.

First are my daily driver settings for 4K on a Vega 64 (GTX 1080 class) and R9-3900x... Your GPU is def up to these settings, but your CPU might bottle you a bit in high demand situations like going fast through town...

These would be alternative settings that your system should have *no* issue with. These are the settings to use for 1440p on a 1050ti class card with a (good) 4c/8t CPU...

I can confirm that those settings produce 1440p/60fps averages on both a 4GB GTX670/2700k combo and a 4GB GTX960/4790k combo. If you are still struggling with those settings then there is something off with your system.

Yea having the same issue after this update.. reinstalled drivers verify the game files etc nothing fixed it

Your CPU is bottlenecking the GPU

do you use g-sync or freesync, because if I have it turned on with this game it bugs out and sits at 52fps, try tuning off g-sync in the control panel (nvidia) set to fixed.

Edit. tried it after the patch and got massive lag and framerate drops, had to alt tab out of the game and back to fix it....

I think this all just comes down to rockstar incompetence.
If they don't fix it within a week I'm about to clear up 100+ gigs off my hard drive.

Rock star incompetence is nothing new. I've been playing GTA 5 since the time of XBOX 360 in 2013, but I couldn't play online from the beginning and it was finally lifted a year after it was released. At that time, it was still light, but after repeated updates, errors and timeouts continued, and it was quite appropriate to deal with annoying players such as cheetahs and glitch users. I have no idea why. Why does it go down by 30 when online while going offline at 60 FPS? I tried to restart it after a long time, but I do not think that I will charge it and I will uninstall it after a while

In the first place, the problem is that FPS has dropped significantly online, although there is no problem with singles.

The 2700x is certainly not that good BUT it should still give you more than 48fps doesn't matter the resolution.
I guess it has to do with the gpu driver.
This is why you shouldn't buy a gpu on its release day and always wait a few months for newer drivers and of course lower prices.
