Anyone else crashing after the new update?

Every time I start up the game, it immediately crashes. This wasn't an issue before updating, and my computer hardware is more than capable of running the game. I've already tried verifying the integrity of my game files, and I do not want to uninstall & reinstall, just because of the games massive size.

Update

I have found a solution that works for me. Turns out the issue was caused by Rivatuner Statistics Server (RTSS).

I fixed this by creating custom profiles on RTSS for GTAV.exe and GTAVLauncher.exe, and setting their detection to none, so RTSS wouldn't activate on them. You can also uninstall RTSS.

This may not fix your crashing issue though, but here are some things that might:

• Uninstalling/Reinstalling the game
  
• Performing a clean install of your GPU drivers
  
• Verifying the integrity of your game files
  
• Disabling your antivirus or adding GTA to your antivirus whitelist
  
• Updating Windows and restarting your PC
  
• Running the game as an administrator/running it in compatibility mode.
  
• Go to C:\Users\<User>\Documents\Rockstar Games\Launcher and open the launcher.log file, it may give you some insight on what could be causing your issue.

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

The reinstall seemed to be a temporary fix. My game has gone back to continuously crashing.

when I turn off my addon vehicles game stop crashing

try turn off your addons one by one and see what crash your game, it works for me

Game + PC locks up ....1st time(was unresponsive) PC restarted on it's own after a min or so.... 2nd time managed to exit out of game but then came a GPU or whatever related issue.....> background programs went bust with it too... happens when i get to island and get in car and basically just when i am about to exit the airfield or whatever game crashes(just black screen).... Drivers and such are up to date so that can't be the issue.... gonna give this a pass for the time being....

Have a clean install. reinstalled earlier to try to fix it
