[Solved] Luck Wheel Won Cars = $0 to Sell..?
Just wondering if I missed something somewhere - I could have sworn a couple years ago when I played more, I won a car on a spin of the Lucky Wheel at the Diamond Casino, and I didn't really like it (lol) so I sold it - for about 400k or so... Now [brag not initially intended] I just won the Autarch on the big wheel and thought I'd try get some money by Selling it - but it comes up as $0 in the Shop/Garage - is this how it is now? Do I have to wait a while or change something?

The car is actually fast as hell, I might do a Review of it or something lol I can easily outrun Cops and get out of their detection range with this baby... but I'm not really Rich or anything in-game, so I tried to Sell it for now.

Thanks for any ideas

Hmmm - In my personal experience the podium cars have always been that way. The only manner I've been able to make some decent money from those vehicles is if I win one I own already, then you can sell the original for a chunk of change and keep the podium copy (purchasing again the performance mods and whatever cosmetic options you like). So if you already own the Autarch, try selling that first one instead. (I also agree the Autarch is a great car)

As I understand it GTA Online always records the purchase price of a vehicle and property in your account log so that if it's sold later, the sell price is a percentage of the exact purchase price (so lower if you got it on discount).

You can't sell cars that you won from the casino podium

Of course you can.
You get $0 + the money for any livery it has on it.
You also get half of any money you spent on mods you bought before selling it.

To crusaders point: A garage full of podium cars is worth very little vs a garage full of the same cars one bought. I prefer a valuable garage.

Ok sure, but is it worth selling? Think not.

Of course it is. It takes up real estate cars with actual value could occupy.

Ah, thanks you two - it was a while ago but I could be mistaken of course - maybe I 'had the car already' and so I kept the Podium Car and Sold the one I had that was the same model... Either way I guess I get why they don't allow it (money gained too easy), I got mixed up I guess.

Thanks for the input, all. Take care

ouch dude.. i prefer selling my personal car in garage than selling the podium car if it's the same car that i got,.. what is the point selling podium car? i just selling my personal car that i bought if i got the same car from podium but you thinking the other way around.. weird..

im always thinking you can get your money back from the same car once u got it free from casino podium.. but you just thinking the opposite..

Interesting - is the 'price to sell' lower for the week, when the model is on the Podium?

Some people need the money so I totally understand selling the bought car once one wins the podium version. For me the difference is primarily: Great, i got some random car I probably already have or didn't want for nothing vs Ooo i finally got this car I been working for a week to afford. I can't get the time back that i spent working to get the owned car when it is sold. When I drive the car i worked for it is more satisfying to me.

dude.. im appreciate ur concern of your hardwork.. but im sorry no one in GTA Online cares about your car is a podium car or not as long as it's yours, everybody only notice it's yours and nothing else.. maybe your wise words only apply in real life.. but in GTA, cars don't aged, there is no special car, they are good as new once it repaired and your wise words is useless in GTA...

in GTA is about business and making money, not about ur special feeling on your vehicle..

You could never receive money by selling podium cars , and what do you mean by "years ago'? I think the update is like 1 year old . But anyway , i won the very first car when the update launched , the Bugatti (forgot its name) , the one which is showcased in the casino update artwork and i tried to sell it , but it was 0$ . So no , you couldnt ever sell your podium cars

Not true, i was selling untouched podium vehicles for 70k ish all the time. I believe 0$ was only if you sold same week. After summer dlc they changed something and now you get like 9k $ oer car.

I sell podium cars immediately. You get money only if it has a livery.

Actually, you are wrong. I care. Since i'm the only one I need to please it doesn't matter what you think of my car.

"GTA is about business and making money" for you.
The game is what one makes of it. You got your nose to the grind...good for you. For me the game is about enjoying the fruits of my entertainment.

I skydive.
I jetski.
I rockcrawl. Among other fun things.

Hey, but you got that grind!
