In one case, it was my audio adapter - what do you use for sound? A sound card? USB dongle? Onboard Adapter ('chips on the board') and plug into your mainboard or front of the case?
If you use one of those, try a different one - for example, if you are using a THX USB dongle, try plugging directly into the mainboard, at the back, and use the onboard audio for a while, to see if that helps. In the past, it did for me on an older system - maybe it couldn't handle the number of sounds playing simultaneously or something, but it would crash/freeze at explosions/crashes in game.
In another case, it was my CPU. A lot of special effects are still calculated on the CPU these days, and some of those are audio and explosions (particles, etc). Most of these types of things are being passed to the GPU slowly over time, but a lot still start their effects on the CPU.
If you are overclocking it, turn that off for now. If it still doesn't work, try underclocking for a while. This will at least tell you if it's your CPU (eg. getting old, etc) - if it works 'perfectly' when you do this. In my case, I upgraded my CPU because I could at the time, and it went away for me. If you really can't get this all working, it might be time to consider an upgrade. If you can't though that's ok too, keep working at it.
Edit:
I forgot: Also, you can try turning down special effects (screenshake, blur, "FX", etc) - a lot of these can cause issues, especially with older hardware. I remember it did for an old GPU of mine, it would freeze at motionblur/explosions, heh.
HTH a bit anyway. GL
Much more info in the link - including a couple things you didn't mention doing in your list. Past trial/error/YMMV testing - the best anyone can do is wait for a fix or (or pester R* support) -

Hello!
No, I just use the default drivers for audio and some earbuds, never really fancied changing stuff around when it just worked, the only thing I got that's third party is Virtual Audio Cable, and that never is running on the background, unless I'm micspamming Valve game's multiplayer servers, so I don't see how this could affect the game, but I might try uninstalling it.
My CPU is not overclocked or at least I don't think it is, never truly tried to do it because I never liked the concept of exchanging lifespan with performance, I mainly build things to last and not to perform well. but I've been considering an upgrade for awhile.
Yeah, like I said in the post, I downgraded my graphic and display settings, it didn't seem to affect anything regarding the crashes unfortunately. (motion blur and screenshakes are the bane of my existence)
I might have to wait for Rockstar to bother fixing it, until then I'll have to rely on RNG to get my heists done with my friends, Thank you for the suggestions and I appreciate the time you took to help me!
Hello!
Yes, I read your posts before, it's the reason why I decided to list the stuff I already tried, to see if anyone would have anything else to try. I tried most if not all of your suggestions and they didn't seem to work, I appreciate you taking time to test these for the people that are facing this issue, you're the real mvp here!
Hopefully they'll fix it relatively soon. I'm hoping that at least people with this issue find the solutions you wrote and fix it for them.
