Can you buy Longfin for Cayo Perico?

I have not baught the Longfin, but I remember from other heists, if you own the prep mission item, you don't have to go for it. Is that true in this situation too? Don't really want to spend 2.2 million to find out that it is a no.

Sorry, Rockstar never lets us use our owned vehicles when specifically required for heists, at least far as I know. The flimsy in-game rationale I believe is that doing so could somehow let the heist target track things back to our online character and who we were doing the job for, the same being true of weapons in heists beginning with the Casino robbery. In reality, the devs don't want players taking shortcuts to get through a heist's setups and preps, sidestepping some of their intentionally annoying grind mechanics.

Edit: One exception being the ability to pay to skip the Doomsday freeroam preps, but doing that severely cuts down your profit on doing the heist itself. I also have intentionally skipped buying any boats associated with Cayo Perico since they didn't take the time to allow us to finally customize sea vehicles and thus all are the vanilla Pegasus variety.
