Are rockstar employees monitoring the server undercover?

So I've used a mod menu just for money because the game is broken and i was server hoping, there was some bloke who was in chat telling us about how modding gets you banned and whatever and claiming he worked from microsoft. Thing is when we asked for proof he refused to prove that he was an employee when all I asked for was his full name and position in rockstar games to prove he is legit, I randomly got a message saying I was disconnected from gta online servers and so did my friend who didn't even use a mod menu ever, I rebooted the game and I could join gta online fine with no issues but my friend is perma banned by this person now despite being innocent, is this some super mod menu or is rockstar actually running a men in black campaign or what?

How do you afk without getting kicked? I can only think of one way, rubber bands on a controller or a menu? Either way that sounds odd to me.

Use the tv in the apt while in a contact mission....you can just google it lol

I do like that this topic has maintained a positive attitude, mostly.

At the end of the day, cheating has it's consequence, but it doesn't have to be insults from the community as well. I think it represents the understanding that if someone truly cheats in self-serving, but non-destructive ways then at least their cheating doesn't hinder a lot of what others enjoy.

I don't care if you want to buy a Mk2 just to buzz around, for instance. Just don't be a ♥♥♥♥ to passive players. Hell, go after other ♥♥♥♥♥. Have a cheat-war right in the middle of Los Santos like freakin' Goku and Vegeta.

I've never been the one to attack passive players, only the ones who were griefing themselves and even then I didn't mod and only used stuff like the avenger to mess them around. I get what you're saying though

Again I kicked off in anger as I just needed to know what I possibly did wrong as there's so many other players who do the same and don't get in the way of others in the process. I just wanted the cop outfit but I guess modder bloke thought yeah imma end this man's whole career

It uses both VAC and Overwatch. It's a highly competitive FPS.

Also, almost any cheating in that game would be aggressive. People don't cheat CSGO for any reasons that wouldn't be harmful to others.

It's anti-cheat expectations are a good bit different.

I've had my fair share of aim bot modders but I always thought they weren't really dealt with accordingly really
