Cloud Sync Conflict
Whenever I start up Gta 5 I always get a box come up with my local data and cloud data. It says I have to click one to resolve a conflict? I have tried deleting cloudsavedat but it doesn't work.

If anyone has a fix it would be much appreciated so I don't have to restart my online character again when I get a new PC.

Your local data is most likely the current game you're playing. The cloud data is most likely an older save of the same game. What you need to do is just allow the local saves to overwrite the cloud, as long as you're okay with your local saves.

By allow do you mean click and resolve the local data?

Rockstar (Game Launcher) handles the cloud saving, not Steam, and I'm much less familiar with its user interface and options. You need to "resolve" a conflict by choosing one or the other to be your preferred saves, which will then overwrite the other.

It should sync after your quit the game every time and it shouldn't have a conflict every time you start the game.

So, my cloud save was from last month, will I lose everything from my local data if I select cloud data?

Yes. You would want to choose to keep the local data and then it will use that to overwrite the cloud save.

If I select cloud data from a month ago, will my Online save still be the same as now?

I can click 2 boxes. One for cloud and one for local data. Will this solve the conflict?

I can't be sure about either of your recent questions because I've never had an RGL cloud conflict, myself. You could try taking it up on the Rockstar forums if no one here has more experience with it.

Also, here's their official support page which might have the info you need:

It's about the old Social Club version of cloud saving, RGL is a new interface but I imagine it works mostly the same.
