GTA online taking soo long to load

Ever since the summer update was released, my gta has taken even longer to load into online. At first I thought it was infinite but after some waiting, it managed to load. Before it would take like 2 or 3 minutes, but now it takes much longer. 6 and a half minutes to be exact. That's the whole length of the loading screen song. If anyone could please help me, that would be great.

my strat is get into story mode first and then hold alt and move your cursor in the wheel to your gta online character, hope that might work out for you

Yeah I'll try that from now on. I'm thankful that I can still play though. But still these loading times is what makes the game so annoying.

Always start up into story mode first, as it loads the same world assets for the most part, and its typically a lot quicker.

you either go to history mode, go to gta online > invite only session, if you don't want a inv only session then just find new session, you should load quicker because the game already rendered,

the other option is to reinstall gta 5 and put it in your SSD or HHD, after i put it in my SSD, it took 3 minutes to load.

Yeah loading story mode than online is alot faster. And I actually do have gta on my SSD.
