Move GTA V Epic Games save to Steam version

Hello! I recently downloaded GTA V from when it was free on epic games, and i have been having a lot of fun doing the story mode. But just to make things easier and because the Epic Games launcher is a pain in the ass, i want to purchase the game on steam when it's on sale.

Is it possible to move my story save from the epic games version over to the steam version? Thanks.

If you link steam to same SC account and have cloud saves in SC enabled, everything should work automatically. Worst case just copy saves in documents from one profile to another.

ok the game finished downloading and once i logged into my account everything stayed the same, it even unlocked all the achievements for me and kept my user radio songs and save. it also runs better than the epic games version...
