GTA Online AFK times changed?

So, for me at least, I've been noticing that my afk timer has been changed from 15 min to 3-2 min. Also, they seem to have "fixed" the afk glitch (where you sit in a camera and can become afk for a really really long time) and it's the same wait time as if you were waiting in the streets. I feel like it's because of the new sale that's going on (Special Cargo sales doubled) and rockstar is trying to get people not to go afk anywhere at anytime. I really hope I'm not being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and just complaining about something that doesn't really exist

Depends on what your char is doing. Standing idle will kick you after 2 Minutes. Opening the ESC-Menu, or the ingame phone will prolong the timer. Same with looking at security cams. You will eventually be kicked. However, you can just hold down (use a piece of paper or toothpick to wedge) the action key and then you won't be kicked at all.

i am confused will that fix it? becuase i litterly start it and is goes direct to black screen no loading no nothing

still 15 minutes, still 2-3 minutes if you tab out to windows and endless afk at camera or tv is working like it always did.

Alright, so I've looked into it, and it seems to work now including the camera glitch. It was still weird how I afk'd out of the camera glitch but hey, I don't care.

Well, cheaters often try to mess with afkers before they leave the session. They have a few tricks to get you away from the tv.
I blame money beggers sucking cash out of cheaters peens for this, personally.

To avoid this situation just afk in a closed friend / crew session or mission.
