How to turn off grass?

i have a amd rx 580 and a ryzen 5 3600 16gb ram and i get really laggy near grass and i was wondering if you could turn it off like shadows

go to Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V and open settings.xml and idk

Setting grass to "normal" removes it entirely i think, might be mistaken though.
