What I did was this:
1) Downloaded 436.15 drivers from Nvidia's site.
2) Did a clean install (but without even bothering to remove the later drivers - just a clean install on top).
3) Uninstalled Geforce Experience via Apps. (Left only 436.15 driver and Physics from Nvidia.)
4) Set my factory OC'd GTX 1070 into Debug Mode via Nvidia Control Panel (Under Help menu.). This last part is something I've had to do with Nvidia drivers for like a year now. I may or may not have a bad memory chip on my card, but downclocking the card back to base clock I haven't had any crashes and the performance loss is mere percents so this is fine with me.
You dont play the game, troll.
Is EVERYONE getting the exact same crash error in the Launcher text file (in My Documents -> Rockstar Games -> GTA V) which is:
Category: 1 (ERROR_CATEGORY_LAUNCHER)
Code: 107 (LAUNCHER_ERR_GAME_CRASHED)
Localised: Launcher error. Code: 107
Exit code 0xc0000005 indicates a game crash (STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION)
And to everyone else engaging with those 'it's your machine' goons. Stop feeding the trolls. These guys come in here...after hundreds of posts and claim to know ♥♥♥♥. They know nothing and are just trolling. Stop replying to their comments. Everyone who was involved in this, and the other 'crash threads', from the beginning knows, that GTA was running fine for years on our machines. Until the casino update. Even now, all other games run perfectly fine....but sure. It's our machines. Stop feeding those uninformed trolls!
Also, I would hope that there would be a more active debate in the rockstar support forum. Not that much activity there. If everyone would discuss the matter there, I think it would be more likely that Rockstar understands how serious this is. Currently there are debates on here, toms hardware forum and on reddit (amongst others) but I feel there's not a lot of communication towards Rockstar themselves (their forum, twitter, etc). So it might be that they don't even really see the full magnitude of this issue.
Indeed, but there might be people with other codes as well. Also, I found people having the same code error but with something else shown instead of ACCESS_VIOLATION_ERROR. Hence me asking specifically about that line.
